Winging Homeward

The last two weeks have been a study in frustration as I begin a new assignment with a team of Good Old Boys who alternatively leave me laughing in stitches or frustrated and tied in knots.  It was suppose to be a one week visit and then remote work.  Yet the Powers That Be seem to want me on the site everyday.  So I stayed a second week.  But I am quickly seeing that I have no reason to be on site and that remote work will be just as effective.  Having said this I am hoping that I can return to my regularly scheduled work location(s).

I miss home.

I miss Wawa.

I miss my pets and my bed and my wardrobe.

I want to see Itgirl’s new abode.

But for now I will do what it takes to pay the rent.

Argh! Your quilt squares should be arriving today too! You’ll have to get WaWa to scan them in.
